"9 to 5" is a fun, energetic comedy that still feels fresh decades after its release. Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton are wonderful together, and their chemistry is the true heart of the film.
More than anything, this movie reminded me how important friendship between women is. It matters at every stage of life, until the day we die, because it is part of what makes a woman feel like a woman. Watching them gave me the desire to call my friends and simply have fun together. Life gets busy, and sometimes we forget how much joy and strength we find in the women around us.
